LECOM proudly graduated 100 members of the inaugural class of the School of Dental Medicine, bestowing upon them the Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. The Dental School graduates spent three years studying at the LECOM Florida campus in Lakewood Ranch; included in that training was one year of clinical training at the LECOM Dental Group Practices, and a final year of clinical practice at dental offices in DeFuniak Springs, FL, and in Erie, PA. Since enrolling its first class of 100 School of Dental Medicine students, LECOM has seen continued growth, with 400 students currently enrolled in its Dental School.
